By accessing or using MoatScan, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.

Permission is granted to use MoatScan for personal, non-commercial research purposes. You may not:

• Modify or copy the proprietary analysis frameworks.
• Use the materials for any commercial purpose or public display.
• Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on the site.
• Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations.

4. Accuracy of Materials

The materials appearing on MoatScan could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. While we use advanced AI models grounded in search data, MoatScan does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current.

MoatScan offers a free tier and a paid MoatScan AI Pro subscription. Paid features and prices are described on our pricing and credits pages and may change with notice.

• Subscription. MoatScan AI Pro is billed at US$5 per month and automatically renews each month until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method the then-current fee on a recurring basis until you cancel.
• Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your full card details, and your use of paid features is also subject to Stripe's terms.
• Credits. Generating a fresh analysis consumes credits (currently 1 credit per analysis). Credits come in two forms — Monthly credits included with your plan that reset at the start of each calendar month and do not roll over, and Permanent credits (welcome grant, purchased top-ups, and any credits we grant) that do not expire. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and are redeemable only for analyses on MoatScan.
• Free-tier limits. Free accounts include a limited number of monthly credits and company views. These limits, plan features, and prices may change at any time.

Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account's billing settings. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid period, after which your account reverts to the free tier.

Refunds. All fees — including subscription charges and credit purchases — are non-refundable, and we do not refund or credit partially used periods or unused credits, except where a refund is required by applicable law. Cancelling prevents future charges but does not refund the current period.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MoatScan or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use MoatScan, even if MoatScan has been notified of the possibility of such damage.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.

9. Changes to Terms

MoatScan reserves the right to revise these Terms of Use at any time without notice. By continuing to use MoatScan, you agree to be bound by the updated terms.
